Job Description:

Entry-level position provides basic maintenance and support for most production areas of the shop. Duties will vary widely from day to day, based on workflow, production schedules, and customer requirements. With demonstrated performance and aptitude, opportunity to grow into machinist role.

Requirements

• Empty metal chip barrels / sweep up metal chips from the floor and around machines.
• Uses forklift and/or crane, following all safety guidelines, to move material around the shop.
• Work at deburr station, removing small burrs and irregularities from parts, smooth edges.
• Assist with basic building maintenance and housekeeping projects such as painting, empty trash, sweeping and repairs.
• Set-up, load, unload and operate band saws and other equipment as required.
• Other duties as required to support the business.
• Candidate must be able to stand for the full work shift, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• Strong Mechanical Aptitude
• Must excel at listening and following specific directions with a can-do attitude
• Excellent Communicator
• Good problem-solving skills, with basic math skills
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Positive Work Ethic, Excellent Attendance and Reliable Transportation
• Experience operating overhead cranes (preferred)
