Job Summary:
A Production Machine Operator is responsible for safely controlling various machines and equipment involved in the production process. The role involves operating production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications, producing the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances, and maintaining logs and records of units produced.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This is a non-supervisory role.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Operates production machinery, including lathes, grinders, mills, and similar equipment.
Produces parts within established specifications and tolerances.
Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
Maintains logs and records of units produced, including a record of errors that result in rejected or discarded pieces.
Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment, and performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
