Required Education, Length & Type of Experience:

•    High School diploma or GED equivalency.

•    At least one (1) year of experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

•    Self-motivated with strong organization skills and ability to multi-task.

•    Time management skills 

•    Quantitative and statistical skills

•    Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office products

•    Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and product recipes/material identifications. 

•    Must have mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply and divide and the ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.

•    Must be able to effectively communicate one-on-one and in small group situations.

•    Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a wide variety of small hand tools, scales, hand trucks, fork lift, utility knife, and mixer/secondary machinery and computer equipment.

•    Demonstrate ability to rapidly learn the operation and set up of industrial machinery per operating procedures while following all training and plant procedures.

•    While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and/or hear.

•    Occasionally required to sit.

•    The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

•    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

•    Requires the use of safety equipment as dictated by the work area such as safety glasses and shoes, dust mask, hard hat, respirator, face shield, hearing protection, chemical suit, gloves, aprons, etc.

•    Work is inside and the typical noise level is loud.

•    Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.  The associate is frequently exposed to vibration.  The associate is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.

12 Hour Rotating – 4:00PM-4:30AM

Monday – Sunday rotating Week 1 Example: Monday and Tuesday on, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday off, Saturday and Sunday on. Week 2 Example: Monday and Tuesday off, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday on, Saturday and Sunday off.
