GENERAL FUNCTION:
We are seeking an experienced Angular developer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. As a contractor, you will work closely with our team of developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
As a member of an agile squad, responsible for implementing new features and enabling capabilities using modern software engineering tools and practices. Adheres to practices and standards, set by communities of practice, and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement. Shares responsibility and accountability for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Doing the right thing for customers and colleagues ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable with 2 – 3 years of software development experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of object-oriented design and development experience with one or more of the following programing languages:
- TypeScript / HTML / CSS
- Familiarity with testing tools: Karma / Jasmine / Jest / Cypress
- Angular web development framework 10+
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Accessibility best practices
- Experience with version control solutions, preferably Git/GitHub
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with any of the following, a plus:
- Gradle
- Node.js
- Java (8 or above)
- Spring Framework
- Spring Boot
- Microservice design principles
- Experience with OAuth-based authentication and authorization
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
