Job Title:  Business Analyst – ServiceNow Implementation
Duration:  6 Months+
Location:  Remote – (working from anywhere in the State of Arizona)

Job Description:
Our direct client, Department of Economic Security (DES) in Arizona, is looking for a strong candidate with a passion for Business Analysis which includes gathering requirements from business and technical subject matter experts and presenting in a consumable format for Implementation Specialists/Vendor, Technical support personnel, licensing & finance personnel, and the Change Management Group for training, communications and help desk.

The project is to implement a robust, scalable ServiceNow environment for DES as the agency moves from a legacy Cherwell platform. The agency’s initial business priorities are ServiceNow’s HAM and HR modules with an emphasis on planning the right path that includes ITSM and CMDB.

Other aspects include HAM integration with multiple systems within DES like Okta, SCCM, Tanium, Qualys, SolarWinds, Gmail, AD/LDAP, ZScaler etc. The analysis along with the final deliverable(s) is expected to be completed in a timely manner with support from the agency. The expected duration is six months but may run a bit longer depending on the number of modules DES implements. 

The candidate will have experience gathering requirements that facilitate the migration to SeviceNow from legacy systems, a clear understanding of the scope and in-depth knowledge of the tool to ask the right questions including but not limited to assets, ITSM, CMDB, HR and workflows to exploit its full potential and provide a set of requirements that facilitates the development of the implementation roadmap.

The agency would like to use as much of the Out-of-the-Box functionality and configuration as possible and avoid customization. Experience in understanding asset strategy, complex multiple funding sources and constraints, enabling operational ease and asset life-cycle management is critical. The deliverables will include granular subject area identification, interview schedules and candidate profiles for requirements interviews, expectations, periodic progress reviews with stakeholders and final work product(s) that address the goals of the project.

The candidate should have appropriate ServiceNow certifications (HAM, ITSM, CMDB) and at least three years of experience in a similar role. Other skills: Critical thinking Analytical skills Facilitating meetings Good listening and presentation skills Excellent documentation skills

Experience in implementing ServiceNow in a Government agency is a plus.
