Detailed Job Description:

Evaluate, design, and implement technology solutions to build and progress Mainframe COBOL technology solutions within the Risk area. We have an internal system that needs to be updated due to changes to a related system. We need to better understand the current process, determine how it needs to be updated, and then perform the updates.

Current system is mainframe batch COBOL.

Summary of tasks:

• Ability to working independently. Will be the only mainframe developer assigned.
• Review and document existing system functionality
• Work closely with business users and other IT areas
• Design and document how system should be updated to meet new requirements
• Update system to work in test environment.
• Test system based new design
